Information We Collect

Fake GPS Walk requires the following permissions to function:

• Location Permission: Used to set mock locations on your device. Your real location data is never collected, stored, or transmitted to any server.
• Google Fit Access: Used to read and write step count data to Google Fit on your device. This data stays on your device and within your Google account.
• Activity Recognition: Required by Google Fit API to access fitness data.

Data Usage

• Location data, route waypoints, and saved favorites are processed and stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
• We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. The events we collect are limited to: mock session start (mode and speed only), mock duration milestones, map taps, step-write mode (target / add), and favorite-load type. No coordinates, target locations, real GPS data, or personal identifiers are collected. See Firebase Analytics Data Disclosure.
• We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Google Ads Privacy Policy.
• We do not have access to your Google account credentials.

Third-Party Services

This app interacts with:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): For aggregated usage analytics. Collected: app instance ID and the limited interaction events listed under "Data Usage" above. See Firebase Analytics Data Disclosure.
• Google Fit API: To read and write step count data. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data. See Google Ads Privacy Policy.
• OpenStreetMap: For map display. See OSM Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

On-device data (saved locations, saved routes, app preferences) can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data. Firebase Analytics events are retained on Google's servers for up to 14 months by default, after which they are automatically deleted.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Fake GPS Walk is provided as a development and testing tool. By using this app, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for how you use this app.
• Using mock locations or modifying fitness data may violate the terms of service of third-party applications.
• The developer is not responsible for any consequences, including account suspensions or bans.
• This app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
